The HK VP9 A1 X is the optics-ready evolution of HK's celebrated striker-fired pistol, updated with a refined slide profile, improved trigger pull, and a direct-mount optics cut that accepts popular micro red dots without an adapter plate. Built around HK's ergonomic polymer frame with the signature paddle-style magazine release, the VP9 A1 X delivers full-size duty performance in a package that points and shoots like an extension of the hand. The A1 platform refines what was already one of the most natural-pointing service pistols in the industry, with cleaner slide serrations, a redesigned charging-supports profile, and tighter tolerances throughout. This 4.09" configuration ships with two 10-round magazines for Massachusetts compliance.

HK's VP-series trigger has earned a reputation as one of the best striker-fired triggers available, with a short, crisp break and a positive tactile and audible reset. The A1 carries that forward and adds a slight reduction in pre-travel for an even snappier feel. The cold-hammer-forged polygonal barrel maximizes velocity and barrel life, while the steel chassis and fiber-reinforced polymer frame provide the rigidity needed for accuracy and the durability expected from an HK service pistol. Interchangeable backstraps and side panels let shooters tune the grip to hand size, and the ambidextrous slide release and paddle mag release work identically for left- and right-handed shooters.
