MRAD SMR, Bolt Action Rifle, 338 Lapua

Designed with both precision and modularity in mind, the MRAD is equally at home on the range or on duty. Its monolithic upper receiver is machined from 7000-series aluminum, including a full-length M1913 Picatinny top rail with built-in taper for long range precision. The MRAD SMR (Single Mission Rifle) features the same performance as the original MRAD, along with .75 MOA accuracy, but in a simplified package utilizing 90 percent parts commonality.

The SMR name indicates that the rifle is set for a single caliber, lacking the interchangeable barrel capability of the original MRAD. Additionally the stock is fixed (non-folding). This leads to a slimmer rifle package that is 2.5 lbs lighter than the original MRAD.
