The CMMG Dissent BR4 in 9MM is a folding pistol-caliber carbine built on CMMG's innovative Dissent platform, which integrates the bolt and recoil system into the upper receiver to eliminate the need for a buffer tube. The result is a carbine that folds into a remarkably compact package while retaining a rigid, shootable platform when deployed. 9mm chambering uses Glock-pattern magazines, and the standard CMMG radial-delayed blowback action gives the Dissent a softer recoil impulse than a typical pistol-caliber blowback design.
