1894 DARK SERIES .44 MAG

The Ruger-built Marlin 1894 Dark in .44 Magnum is the modern tactical reinterpretation of one of the most beloved lever-action carbines ever made. Manufactured by Ruger after their acquisition of the Marlin brand, the new 1894 Dark carries forward the original's smooth 1894 action and proven .44 Magnum stopping power, paired with a black Cerakote finish, suppressor-ready threaded muzzle, and tactical handling features that make it equally at home in the truck, the woods, or on a competition lever-action stage. The 16.1" barrel splits the difference between handiness and ballistic performance, and the 8+1 capacity gives this carbine real fighting-rifle utility.

The 1894 action is widely considered the smoothest factory lever action in production short, positive, and forgiving and the Ruger-era manufacturing has tightened tolerances throughout. The paddle-style lever loop accommodates gloved hands. The threaded 11/16x24 muzzle accepts most pistol-caliber suppressors and muzzle brakes, while the M-LOK-compatible handguard provides accessory mounting real estate for lights, lasers, and bipods. A black laminate stock resists weather and the Cerakote finish provides serious corrosion protection this is a carbine engineered to be carried hard and used in conditions that would punish a traditional walnut-and-blue rifle.
