MA LTC Course

This is the class required to apply for a License To Carry (LTC) or a Firearms Identification Card (FID) in Massachusetts.

Upon completion of this class, you will receive your Basic Firearms Certificate.

Curriculum includes:

• Firearm safety in the home and on the firing range
• Basics of handling firearms, including parts and operation
• Identifying and loading/unloading four basic types of firearms
• Cleaning and basic maintenance
• Child safety, locking devices, and storage containers
• Massachusetts laws pertaining to the license application, firearms storage, transportation, and purchase
